Bruno is a native New Yorker who has been battling epilepsy since birth with high fevers due to meningitis, an infection of the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord. Although the diagnosis of Epilepsy was not confirmed until the age of ten, doctors called this a sleeper and the effects of seizures were shown.
Bruno founded A Hero For Epileptics to raise awareness for a stigmatized disorder that has been around for thousands of years.
"Did you know 60% of Epilepsy cases have no known cause and over 30% of epileptics live with active seizures because available treatments do not work?"
Bruno intends to change this. People with epilepsy need to be shown that we will never give up or let seizures control their day to day lives. He asks everyone to join him in this fight as we all need to work together on getting more research invested into epilepsy.

With both an BS & MBA in Marketing , Michelle has both the background and experience to help properly promote & share important content of A Hero for Epileptics across digital platforms including web, social, video, podcasts, email and paid advertising.
When she learned that Bruno has been battling epilepsy since a young age, it made her understand the real strength both physically and mentally that he had. It was also the first time she ever witnessed a seizure first-hand (there are over 40 types). Michelle knew at that moment she would stand by him and join the fight to raise awareness around this serious disorder that affects over 3 million people in the United States.
